We used free service for a long time, like yahoo/hotmail/gmail etc; andeven the blogger services. Accirding toJeff Jarvis in What would Google Do,he said a lot of service should be free. And I will certainly agree. At least theinternet service should be faster and free, not just in those "hotspots".
My auto had a nail for about two weeks, and my dealer recomended that I would goto American Tire to simplely have it repairedbecause this tire is new. So I went to one store this morning. And I was so surprised to findout that the repair service is free(I am at thestore now, and they said that it would take about 45 minutes).
Read in another book about how to survivein this fast changing world, one of the goodsuccessful business model is "Run the businessby barely break-even", or very thin low profit margin; so it will be hard for the competitorto get in the market, unless if they would runit to lose money.
