Busy = out of control?

I just got this idea from Derek Sivers, who created CD Baby in 1998. It became the
largest seller of independent music online, with $100 million in sales for 150,000 musicians.

According to him, busy is synonymous of out of control. So if I am too busy, then it's the time to reexamine my systems and rules.

Once in a while, I had some borrowers who were so busy that can hardly find time to collect the documents I requested for the purchase or refinance, though I always told them it would take less than 5 minutes.

First, just get a scanner for $99 or less, and scan the most important documents once a month. And you can have standard file folder to store the files. Then if those documents are needed, then it will take less than one minute to drop/drop to the email, and then send.

And recently, I had one borrower who was so busy that he did not have much time to maintain the property. He was very furious that the lender requested the termite fixed and the roof get replaced. He was very unhappy about it. But for me, if I were in the similar situation, I would be happy to get them all fixed to avoid future bigger losses.

As a mortgage professional, we have lots of small "projects" everyday. And they are very tedious.And according to some memory experts, the in and out of the different short term memory will make my brain very tired. I do have some apps to help me organize those tasks. But one thing I learn was:
finished the small tasks first(like less than 3-5 minutes ones), then mark it completed from my todoList, then focus on the important and urgent ones.
